CMGS10ET is a MEMS alcohol gas sensor that uses digital signal output. Equipped with dedicated digital module acquisition technology and gas sensing technology, the product ensures extremely high reliability and excellent long-term stability, while also featuring low power consumption, high sensitivity, fast response, low cost, and simple driving circuit.

The sensor adopts advanced MEMS technology to fabricate micro heat plates on silicon-based substrates, and the gas sensing material used is metal oxide semiconductor material with low conductivity in clean air. When the sensor operates in an air environment, the conductivity of the gas sensitive material changes with the concentration of the detected gas in the air. The higher the concentration of the detected gas, the higher the conductivity of the gas sensitive material. Based on this principle, a dedicated integrated circuit is used to convert the change in conductivity into an output signal corresponding to the gas concentration.

The CMGS10ET alcohol sensor, as a sensitive component in alcohol gas detection equipment, is used in portable alcohol detectors, vehicle mounted alcohol detectors, alcohol locks, automotive ignition systems, and other devices.
